Student ID Information

In accordance with the student handbook, every Klein ISD student is required to wear an identification badge during the school day. The safety and security of our students, staff, visitors and faculty is a top priority for KISD. School issued IDs (not temporaries) will be required for ALL extracurricular activities, lunch, recess, restroom/hall pass, and field trips.

Students will be issued an ID badge and lanyard on the first day of school. Additional ID badges are available for purchase for $5. If your child needs either just the sleeve or lanyard, they can be purchased for $1. Students may purchase their own lanyards but must be school appropriate.Students may also provide their own sleeve as long as the sleeve is clear and the information is visible.

Students without an ID badge during the school day will need to acquire a temporary wrist band for that day.

For each wrist band provided, there will be a $1 charge attached to the students' SchoolCash account. Temporary ID badges will be distributed in the library, not the grade level offices. 

Students with an outstanding SchoolCash balance will not be allowed to attend school events Fun Friday, Glow Party, etc.) should the balance not be paid in full.
