New Principal Announcement

New Principal Announcement

Dear Krimmel Family,

I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Krimmel Intermediate. Although I’m new to this position, I am a homegrown Klein ISD leader and alum. I have been a member of the Klein Family for 25 years and have served as a teacher, literacy specialist, district leader in PreK-12 English Language Arts, administrator at Klein Forest High School, and, most recently, the principal of Bernshausen Elementary.

I’m so proud to begin serving this amazing school community and cannot wait to meet all our Krimmel staff, students, and families. I’m passionate about focusing on students as the center of our work and helping them be their very best in academics and character. I know that Krimmel is a remarkable school with a tradition of excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics. I look forward to partnering with you and our wonderful staff to continue building upon this reputable foundation of success.

I am grateful for your support as we work together to develop the promise in every student as they find their purpose. I cannot wait to meet our students, staff, and families and feel a tremendous sense of excitement about everything that we are going to accomplish together as a Krimmel Family. I am looking forward to an excellent 2024-25 school year with all of you.

Go Knights!

Carrie Farmer
Principal, Krimmel Intermediate
