Schoology is our Learning Management System that allows students to collaborate, communicate, and engage in learning. Teachers use Schoology to give classroom updates, post their classroom materials online, and provide a safe forum to students to discuss their ideas and collaborate on projects. With Schoology, teachers can engage students in new ways.
Parents can view their children's activity within the Schoology platform. A Schoology Parent Account gives you access to:
- The classes your child is enrolled
- Your child's upcoming assignments
- School and class announcements
**IMPORTANT - This is NOT the official gradebook so please continue to use Skyward Family Access to view your student's grades. **
Within each teacher's Schoology, you will find a gray folder called "For Parents" under the Materials tab at the top of the page. In this folder, teachers have placed general information for you such as teacher contact information, conference periods, best method of contact, and tutoring information. Additionally, teachers will place parent handouts, course syllabus, and anything else they need to communicate to parents about their course.
