American Sign Language Club
The American Sign Language Club will introduce students to basic conversational ASL and the world of Deaf Culture. There are also 2 ASL concerts in which club members can participate.

Art Club

Art Club is an after school club for all students at Krimmel who have a love or interest in making art. Students do not have to be enrolled in an art class, it is open to all students.

The Krimmel cheerleaders and mascot promote school spirit and support athletic programs; and also volunteer at school related activities and events.

Club Dates and Times: Practice approximately 2-3 times per week. (2 mornings and 1 after school every 2 weeks) in the Gym.

Destination Imagination is a creative problem-solving educational organization that strives to promote creativity in young people. Student teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the challenges. Krimmel students in grades 6 - 8 are chosen for teams at the beginning of the school year based on an application and audition process.

Environmental Club
The Krimmel Environmental Club offers a curbside recycling program for all teachers, faculty and staff.  Our students also help maintain the Krimmel garden. The goal of our organization is to spread environmental awareness and to encourage our students to be proactive in protecting our planet.

History Club
The purpose of the History Club is to promote awareness about important historical events, as well as the importance of honoring our Veterans and our nation's history. The students in the History Club decide which important issues should be discussed.

K-rock coalition is a leadership club focusing on our Krimmel Core Values: Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion, and Service.  Throughout the year K-rock leaders will grow in their understanding of these values and lead school-wide activities that promote our values throughout campus and community.

Knights 4 Christ
Knight 4 Christ's purpose is to create a Christian Community at Krimmel and to help guide students to apply the Christian faith in their everyday lives.

Krimmel Knights Live
The Krimmel Knights Live team delivers morning announcements via Facebook Live. Membership is by audition. Auditions are held annually in September.

Krimmel Knightbots Robotics Team
The Krimmel Knightbots Robotics Competition Team participates in the First Robotics Tech Challenge competition. Students work in a team to build and program a robot based on the annual challenge. They compete on Saturdays for a season usually running from September through February. The team meets at least weekly and there are quite a few practices off campus as well as events around Houston that they attend each year. The competitions are in the Klein ISD district, students are responsible for transportation to and from the other campuses.  The number of positions is limited. The team is formed in the first 3 weeks of school.

KnightTime Players
KnightTime Players is a competition acting team that meets weekly in the fall. All
Theatre students in grades 6-8 are welcome to join. Tournaments will be held from October December with One Act Play in the Spring.

Name that Book
The Name That Book competition is coordinated  by the Klein ISD Department of Library Services and serves to acquaint KISD students with contemporary and award-winning books, representing a variety of genres.  The district-wide competition is held in February. All intermediate students are welcome to join, but should be prepared to read hard! Only the top eight students will compete.

National Junior Honor Society
NJHS provides service to the school, students, teachers and the community. To be eligible for membership in NJHS, a student must demonstrate outstanding scholarship, character, citizenship, leadership and service. Students are eligible after the first semester of their 7th grade year. Students must have an overall 90 average and complete a multi-facet process of selection. If the student is selected, they will be inducted at the end of the school year. Only 8th grade students are able to participate during the school year.

Running / Strength and Conditioning Club
The Running / Strength and Conditioning Club is a club offered to anyone who likes to run or build strength. Current members involve many Cross-Country Runners and Track Runners and others who plan on participating in these sports. There are no requirements for this club except for you must enjoy running.

Club Dates and Times: Meeting Thursday mornings from 7:30 AM Come in through the side doors by the track, get dressed and meet in the hallway by the Activity Room; November 13th - December 16th

The Rampart Editorial Team
Student editorial team responsible for editing and publishing Krimmel's online magazine THE RAMPART. Application process open to all students, but membership determined by interviews each September.

Spanish Club
Experience the culture of our Spanish-speaking friends around the world! We meet approximately once a month. Club dues are $10 a year which will cover treats and supplies for the whole year.

Student Council
Student Council consists of our student leaders who are elected in First Period classes. We also have an executive board with a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Reporter. Students who wish to participate, but who were not elected, may become Work-On Members by completing 10 Hours of Volunteer work for the Council or by attending meetings. Student Council sponsors many service activities and fund raisers that help to support our many community projects. We also sponsor Fun Days, Red Ribbon Week Activities, Food and Toy Drives as well as some upcoming Movie Nights and possibly a Karaoke Night.
